She is mysterious and breathtaking, and as the fresh flower fragrance wafts through the air, curling around and tantalizing his nose, he inhales deeply to catch a hint of her perfumed scent.

She is quiet, but her straight, still posture belies the emotions quaking, shaking, inside her heart. She stands tall and proud and ready. Pure white linen gently drapes her lovely figure as tiny opal beads and crystals shimmer and reflect the streaming light at the waist.

Beloved groom stands tall and powerful, perfectly polished in his wedding clothes. He is steady, like an oak beside still waters. His jaw is strong, his words tender. He has spoken lovingly to her all these years, beckoning her forward to this carefully chosen day that he has set for her to become his forevermore.

Gracefully swaying as she moves toward him, obscuring her features, her veil affixes to her long, carefully coiffed locks with a starred crown. She reaches the end of the aisle. Her bright eyes noticeably lock on him until he glances sideways. Playfully smiling, she quickly looks forward knowing his full attention is riveted on her.

feels the passion
of the groom for his bride.

Vows chosen since the beginning are finally spoken for the world to hear as he fulfills every promise to her. After waiting and longing for him, she is ready to be united with her love.

Strength under control, graceful and and sure of himself, he lifts her veil to behold her beauty. Sharp intakes of breath – both his and hers – as the moment they have waited for unfolds before them…The Kiss. He leans in, pulling her toward his body, and it feels as if

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,”  says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” and let him who hears says, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life…
He who testifies to these things say, “Yes I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come Lord Jesus.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
